Tension over prices in balance sheets is the highest since the post-pandemic period.

Discussions about price increases, margin pressure, and pricing capacity have reached their highest level since the inflationary shock of the first quarters of 2022 among Brazilian companies listed in the United States, according to a survey by the investment intelligence firm BridgeWise.

[BridgeWise] identified 2,100 mentions related to pricing, inflation, cost pass-through, and affordability in earnings releases published in the first quarter – relating to the last quarter of 2025. This number easily surpassed the previous peak, observed two years earlier, of around 1,500 times, and is approaching the record of 3,000 entries in the [previous period].
